I am a painter/printmaker with a degree in Creative Arts from UAL having previously studied at Wimbledon School of Art.  I was Chairman of Rickmansworth Art Society, with whom I exhibited for many years and now belong to Colchester Art Society. In my work I try to capture a romantic vision of the rural and coastal landscapes close to my home on West Mersea Island, but also from my travels particularly to Wales and Cornwall. I admire the work of John Constable, John Nash and Eric Ravilious.
